Happy Birthday Tom

I finally suprised Tom for his birthday. I was thinking that it could not be done, because he figures out every surprise. But, this time I improved my game play and I was successful. We have always talked about how fun it would be to go to the Auburn vs Alabama football game in November (Iron Bowl). Well, I figured that since we are living in Alabama for nine more months, this would probably be the only time that we could easily go. Finding the tickets were not so easy though! Lucky for me I've had some experience with bidding on Ebay. After a few losses, I finally got tickets.

I bought him an Auburn hoodie sweatshirt and put in the tickets in the front pocket, so that when he tried it on, he would find the tickets in the pocket. The funny part is that he didn't want to try it on. He held it up in front of him and said it was the perfect size. We had to coax him to please try it on so that I could take a picture and finally he found the tickets. Whew! That was a close one.

Needless to say, when he found the tickets, he did a little dance. For those of you who know him, that's not uncommon. ha-ha

So, Happy 37th Birthday Tom! You are in the best shape you have been in since high school, so don't concentrate on how close you are to 40. Just enjoy and look forward to another great year!
